We invite you to read our knowledge area for employers on a regular basis, where we will focus on issues related to the recruitment and development of talent in the field of project management. The demand for project managers and persons with competencies in project management is growing all the time. As pointed out by PMI®  in its recent Jobs Report, the gap between the demand for project managers and their availability is constantly growing, and this trend will continue for at least a few years. PMI® forecasts that over the next decade (up to 2027), the demand for employees with project management skills and knowledge will reach 87.7 million persons. According to PMI® research, the difference between global needs and the availability of resources may result in the loss of nearly 208 billion USD of GDP on a global scale. Moreover, in an increasingly mobile world in which borders are blurred and a wider range of work is done remotely, global trends can strongly affect local labour markets. This creates challenges associated with the recruitment and development of talented project managers in our organizations, in order to ensure the competent execution of projects, and thus the realization of company strategies in an increasingly competitive, innovative and changing market.
